Can I firstly congratulate all of our students from Years’ 10 to 13 on completing all of their external examinations.  They have approached these important exams with maturity and dedication in their preparation, and with distinction in their conduct during the exams themselves.  Now the long wait for results in August begins, but I hope that all students are able to relax and switch off and have an enjoyable summer in the meantime.

Of particular note in the last week following the examinations was the Year 11 Leavers’ Assembly which was a fantastic event celebrating 5 years of school.  It was humbling to see the warmth and appreciation shown by students towards the staff, but also from the staff towards the students.  It was truly an example of our school motto played out in front of us.

We wish all students who will receive results in August the very best of luck and we look forward to seeing them on results day.

As the academic year comes to a close in the last few weeks, we have also had our transition day with the Year 6 pupils who will join the St Cyres community as Year 7 pupils in September.  It was a very enjoyable day, and lovely to meet so many new and existing parents in the parents meeting that followed the day.
